TSP L99 L92 VVT CAMSHAFTS:
These TSP L99 camshafts are custom designed for applications where the AFM lifters are being removed.  By removing the AFM Lifters we are able to run lobes similar to what the LS-3 engines run. The result is approximately 15 extra horsepower compared to the AFM friendly lobes!!

    Texas Speed is one of very few companies that is able to test & properly develop L99 camshafts using the camshaft phaser.  As a result it's very important that we do not release the entire specs of each L99 camshaft.

    The L99 engine utilizes Variable Valve Timing (VVT) controlled via a cam phaser. Cam phasers are computer-controlled cam gears that automatically optimize camshaft timing based on the current engine RPM. While this technology provides tremendous efficiency benefits, it presents a challenge when designing performance cams due to the wide range of valve timing movement and constantly changing piston-to-valve clearance.  With the help of Texas Speed's Superflow 902 engine dyno, we were able to custom design camshafts & phaser tuning tables to allow our L99 customers the ability to bolt on the ultimate in L99 performance!  Thanks to the Superflow 902 dyno, Texas Speed is the only company that currently offers a VVT camshaft with a phaser table included to properly tune the camshaft once it's installed in your Camaro!

    The VVT-1, VVT-2, VVT-3, and VVT-4 camshafts are all designed with more aggressive lobes that require the removal of the AFM lifters from your L99 vehicle.  This will require the installer to remove the cylinder heads & install standard, non-DOD style lifters in place of the AFM lifters.

    Each L99 camshaft Texas Speed offers will require the use of a Comp Cams Phaser limiter kit. The phaser limiter restricts the range of cam timing movement from 50° to 20°. This modification provides the necessary valve clearance for serious performance camshafts with tighter lobe separations – while still utilizing the benefits of the VVT technology.

    The VVT technology is an awesome step forward in technology that allows us to create camshafts that make huge high RPM horsepower while still making great power down low in the RPM band!  The result is camshafts that can make over 100 flywheel horsepower gains while still making great low RPM power!

    L99 VVT STAGE 1 CAM:

    TSP L99 VVT Stage 1 camshaft will be a great choice for those looking to use their factory torque converter and want the best streetability possible.  This camshaft will have a slight lope at idle and will be mild mannered on the street, yet still adds incredible power.

    TEXAS SPEED VALVE SPRINGS:

    We have two options listed for our dual valve spring kits.  The default option will use our PRC integrated one-piece seat and seal that simply pushes in place.  The other option is for the separate two-piece seat and seal that you typically find in any dual valve spring kit.  The two-piece kit will require separate installation of the valve seals after the seats are in place, and it does require a specific tool to make sure that the valve seals are installed properly (i.e. not crooked, torn, or not installed fully).  Our integrated seat and seal will make your installation much easier because it is virtually impossible to install it incorrectly!  You can choose either kit for no additional charge.  We have a picture listed when you select each spring kit so you can see the actual differences in the two kits.

    All L99 TSP camshafts require the use of a Comp Cams Phaser Limiter kit (included in L99 Cam Packages).

    All L99 TSP camshafts require the removal of AFM/DOD. Delete kits can be purchased separately.

If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Pro Touring Headquarters with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Pro Touring Headquarters with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent an d subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English. Changes to Terms Pro Touring Headquarters reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which www.ProTouringHeadquarters.com is offered.
